Job options with hook/prosthetic hand?

I'm trying to help my twin brother find a job. He has a college education and is working on getting his masters in physics. He lost his hand. He either uses a hook or fake hand, which make simple tasks such as typing quite difficult. I know employers can't really not hire him because of his hand, but he might feel better at one job as opposed to another. He also has trouble carrying things and writing, since he's learning to use his other hand. Do you have any advice as to what jobs he should look at? Thank you for any help.
