My Dad locks me in my room, is this right?

me and my dad dont have the greatest relationship. we argue a lot, I often go out with my friends in the evenings to parites etc and get in around 12/1am. This makes my dad mad as my curfew is 10pm (I'm 15... this is ridiculously early) so I end up grounded which means I sneak out and it pisses my dad off even more if he catches me coming back in. He's recently started locking me in my room when I got to bed so I cant sneak out. After 9pm I'm locked in my room. I personally think this is ridiculous and all it has achieved is making me very very mad at him. If him and my mum go out for an evening, to make sure I stay home he locks me in my room when he leaves at say 6 or 7 pm. Its stupid. He treats me like a fricking animal, locking me away in my room unless I am permitted to leave. Also if him and mum go out in the morning he often doesnt unlock my room before he goes out so im still stuck in it until sometimes 9 or 10 o clock in the morning. Odd dream but i think it has meaning?

2003 dodge neon gauge needles go from 120 to 90 to 60 to 30 then too 0?

When you turn the ignition on nothing happens but when you go to crank the car up the tachometer and speedometer both max out then go down in increments the speedometer goes all the way too 120 then too 90 then too 60 then too 30 then to 0. It only happens sometimes other times you can crank it up and it wont do it (it has either a bad TPS sensor or a idle air control valve bad) not sure if that has anything too do with it?......anyone got any ideas why it could be doing this?

to start off with, marriage has to have trust. if he thinks you are going to leave him then obviously he has a trust issue with you. Help! Makeup, pretty? I need help girls!?

Hi. I am almost 14 years old, I am a girl. I am not allowed to wear makeup, I will not wear foundation as it plugs up my pores. My skin is pretty good, I use aveda cleanser and this acne zapper just in case. I don't have any zits or blackheads or anything. My skin is clear and really quite pretty. I am "bigger" I hate my weight, I am 140 pounds. My arms and my thighs make me pretty insecure. So does my tummy. I have a bit of a baby face. And when I was in grade 4 I cut my eyebrows off, so they are bushy in some places and sparse in the others. I am NOT plucking them, I have attempted, and I always look like a dork! Bipolar Disorder?

I am really worried that I am bipolar. I am 15, and have been experiencing extreme mood swings since I was twelve. Sometimes I will have strange, out-of-body experiences that I look back and am ashamed of. During these experiences, I become so overcome with depression and/or anger that I slash my wrists or try to commit suicide in various ways (these have both happened various times throughout the years). I am 26 years old and I take care of my autistic brother. Me and several other women were laid off after last summer from the school cafeteria we were working at and I have been unable to find any other job. I've been attending college full time. I had to apply for a student loan. We are now trying to live off my brother's disability check. We used to get about 300 dollars in food stamps, but when they asked if I was attending college full time and I told them "yes", they told me that I wasn't qualified for food stamps! They said I had to have a job. They told me if I did not have a job, but was not attending school either, I would still qualify. What's the sense in that? I'm going to college so I can get a good job and not have to rely on them anymore. And they refuse to help me. My brother's check is barely enough to pay our bills, we are lucky to have 10 dollars left over. I'm extremely frugal with electricity, we don't even use a heater, although it has been cold. Can anyone tell me what I should do? Any way I can appeal this?

Stripped Power Steering Hose Hole?

Without seeing exactly how bad the threads are....I'd recommend removing the entire steering embly so you can see what is happening. It may be possible to fix the threads on the hose nut with a small file and then install the hose to the steering gear before putting it back into the car. If the threads are damaged too bad on the steering gear, find a used one at the junkyard. Either way, installing the line to the gear before installing the gear into the car will eliminate the problem of having to start the nut in such a difficult place. The key to keep from damaging threads in any application...turn the nut/bolt by hand at least one turn before tightening with a wrench>

Medical diagnostic help for my cat?

Ok my cat is a 4 year old American short hair, recently he started having random episodes of severe dizziness and smooth but uncontrolled muscle movement. During these episodes someone will usually gently hold on to him to keep him from standing up and hurting him self, this always prompts him to start purring showing he’s still aware of his surroundings and ether trying to keep his composer or is not in pain. The episodes start with him standing up and falling over, or him just lying on a bed or couch and he randomly looses balance and falls off. The episodes start sudden but they slowly subside until he’s back to normal within a minute or two, during his heart rate is very fast but stable (ie. not irregular.) and afterwards his reflexes are fine, his hearing is fine, and his eye sight is fine. My first thought was ether blood sugar crash or dehydration because he is on new low calorie diet food, we added in more of his old food so he gets some calories and it seemed to help, he had a rather bad attack today where he fell on the floor and was struggling to stay off his back, he was stumbling and rolling around, his back legs kept sticking up in the air and he couldn’t really control his front legs or most of his spinal muscles. My next thought is ether inner ear infection or he had a small stroke a little while ago and now has neural relapses. But I can’t find any evidence for neurological damage but something is going on, he is 22 pounds and last time he went to the vet they said their was a large amount of fat around his organs, which is why he is on the diet food, he has made good progress and has lost some of the fat but he is still over wait. He is rather active, he chases things and jumps up on stuff without incident. The last little bit his background, we had another cat which was his cousin and she died at 3 of congenital heart failure, as a result we had him checked and he dose have a heart murmur, which is thought to be because of the fat around his heart is preventing a valve from closing all the way. He’s sitting next to me right now and looks and is acting perfectly fine, pleas let me know what you thing and whether or not you can help me.

1961 in Virginia. I was traveling with a black friend and we walked into a restaurant after driving many hours over night. Was about nine AM. Two guys came out from behind the counter and told my friend to get the hell out of there place. I sure started to learn about the South in a big hurry that day. I know things are different now but this was before all the civil rights upheaval later in the 60s. We left for sure and from that time on we would buy food at a market and fix it ourselves . We could not find a place to stay any place in the south that both of us could be in the same room and most places would not even let blacks stay there at all. My black friend was going to university at the time and was at the top of his cl and later got his degree in political science and then went ahead and got another PHD in business Psy.. He now is working for the UN and very well off. I have been to the south since then and was treated well but I didn't go with a black at my side. What's wrong with my toe nail?

It's on my big toe on my left foot. It's pink on the bottom half like it should be, but on the top, it has a white-yellowish tint. I think it might not even be connected to my toe; i think it's come off! There's also black dots under the nail, and i think it's dirt that somehow got in really deep. Is this normal? Can I fix it? How can I get better results out of my exercise routine?

Okay, forgive me if I sound like a novice but I haven't been doing this for a while. I'm 22yrs old and 5'5". I've been doing a five days on one day off routine. I get up in the morning, eat a bowl of cheerios and an apple. I then proceed to use the ab slide doing eight sets of 10. I follow that will some free weights and some crunches, etc. Then I hit the treadmill for at least a mile. After that I eat a salad consisting of gs. lettuce, chicken with a dressing that consists of honey, Dijon mustard, lemon, lemon juice and lemon zest, and olive oil. For a snack if I'm hungry during the rest of the day, I eat an ortment of raisins, cranberries, walnuts, pecans, almonds. On May 15th I weighed 178 pounds. I'm down to 155 however I didn't start working out until at least the end of may. I think most of it was from college drinking but nonetheless, I'd like to lose five more pounds then stop. Okay, the question is how I get past the wall I've hit? I'm not losing or gaining weight anymore. I figured the mile a day would help which I started five days ago. I know results take time but I was wondering if anyone with a little more experience could shed some light on this.

Tips for drill team tryouts?

Just keep practicing, the more times you do them the higher you will get. Also work on your flexibility that helps. I have seen other do this trick and they say it really helps. When you are watching TV get down in the splits and stay there for a few minutes, then relax, then go back to it. After you can be in that position for 5 minutes, before it hurts. Put a phone or other big book under your front foot and repeat the process until you reach about 3 books. I know you want your jumps and everything to be awesome, but a lot of the time the judges and coaches are looking for people that can be in line with the others on the team, I mean being the one that can do the highest jumps is great, but you don't want to be highest all the time, it looks out of sync during a competition. Ok, so i live in Parkland, FL. I live in this really nice gated community (of which i will not say the name) and my family and i have lived there for now going on eight years. When we first moved i was about, 8 years old. We renovated the rooms of our house, even the porch/pool area and my we bought three new cars. A mercedes S 550, a Mercedes, GL 450 and my dad's 550i BMW. As this was happening, i remember some of the neighbors had taken notice and would stare as my family would drive off in either of the mercedes or the bmw. Soon, a couple of the neighbors would come over to "visit" my parents, but really it was just to see the work we got done on the house...Now, my family and i don't ociate with any of the nieghbors or their kids, the only thing we do is exchange slight waves of acknowledgment and the rare, yet akward time when your out getting the paper, and one of the nieghbors is jogging by, waves and then decides to stop and "check in" with you... yes, you need to seek help with a psychiatrist for a diagnosis and possible treatment. also going to see a talk therapist wouldn't hurt either. i see both and they are working together to help me with many of the problems that you mentioned plus some that you didn't. i am doing much better since going to a talk therapist. it is amazing what you can find out about yourself that you never even expected. such as i didn't realize how much anger i had inside myself that had a lot of control over what i do to myself and others. now that i know that a lot of what i do to myself has stopped. these things don't just start over night and they don't go away over night but they do get better with time and hard work on your part.

my panasonic sc-pt170 dvd home theatre system will not work with my panasonic viera tv. it has a hd box built into it (my tv panasonic viera). have a hdmi cord, green, blue and red cables and yellow white and red cables which are all plugged into my t.v. but when i turn the viera link on to play through home theatre system my tv sound just turns off how do i fix it or do i need another box or something. my hd cords and red yellow blue green cords go straight from my dvd home theatre system to my tv. the picture stays but the sound just goes and i cant hear it anymore could any1 help please

Serious Bedtime Tantrums?

My son is 28 months old. Every night we have a routine for bed like all the books say. First we take a bath, then jammies, we relax and read a book, and then time for bed. He is so good and lovely until it's time to sleep. The minute he hears bedtime or anything that insinuates time for sleep he begins to cry and then this whining cry turns, very quickly, into a shrill scream. When we lay him down he kicks, and even when the screaming and whining dies down (fifteen to twenty minutes later) he kicks his legs around. Some of my friends who have children tell me that the tantrum dieing in twenty minutes is a good sign, but i feel terrible letting him scream. I would agree with it being a good sign but this has been going on for about a month now. We have tried calming him down, we have tried letting him cry, we have tried letting him know mommy and daddy are tired too. All these things are fruitless efforts. My child still flipps-outight. I am so frustrated by the end of the night i can't see straight. I feel bad that i get upset because I know my son isn't doing this to upset me, he just doesn't want to sleep. I feel like a failure. how do i help my son sleep and go to bed calmly in any sense of the word. I would settle for anything but screaming and kicking.

Why do people use the motorized carts at Walmart even though they probably don't need to?

I was at Walmart yesterday and saw a man with his kids. He was in a wheelchair, pushing it with his right hand and pushing the cart with this left, as well as trying to keep his kids in check. I then see a large woman using one of the motorized carts. Her legs seemed to be in working order, unlike the man in the wheelchair who could have benefited from the motorized cart. Why is it that overweight people use those carts? Maybe if they walked it would be better for them. I am overweight myself, and would never consider using one of the motorized carts because I have enough decency to save them for someone who really does need them.
