If you've only been with Max for a month, I'm sure you guys aren't ridiculously attached. If you're ever going to break it off with him and go for Jaime, now would be the time. Don't drag things out with Max any longer because, like you said, it's not fair for him. Just do what makes you happy, and if Jaime makes you happy, go for it.
