Is my computer able to run these games?

It will struggle with most games. The 310M isn't very powerful video card at all. It weighs in at 75 Gflops of processing power. In comparison even very low end desktop card like the G 220 or Radeon 5450 will have have almost double the GPU power. For the more CPU-oriented Source games, you might be okay, but Fallout 3/NV and GTA 4 will run poorly.
