Some E-Book Questions?

OK, the cost of books is killing me as well as storage so I have decided to get a E-Book reader. I'm down to either the Kindle DX or the Sony PRS-900. Also what are good places to buy E-books besides of course the Amazon store and the sony store for the respective readers. Can you also give me a reason for your descision. Please and Thank you.
