Did Hitler think what he was doing was good?

Okay it is perfectly rational to say that he was probably insane. However let's pretend for a moment that he wasn't insane and carried out these atrocities in a perfectly sane state of mind; do you think that he could possibly reason that this was somehow in noway immoral or would he instead reason that it was in fact on some level immoral but for the greater good?
