Tips for drill team tryouts?
Just keep practicing, the more times you do them the higher you will get. Also work on your flexibility that helps. I have seen other do this trick and they say it really helps. When you are watching TV get down in the splits and stay there for a few minutes, then relax, then go back to it. After you can be in that position for 5 minutes, before it hurts. Put a phone or other big book under your front foot and repeat the process until you reach about 3 books. I know you want your jumps and everything to be awesome, but a lot of the time the judges and coaches are looking for people that can be in line with the others on the team, I mean being the one that can do the highest jumps is great, but you don't want to be highest all the time, it looks out of sync during a competition.
