If i bled for a month will i skip my next period?

i bled for a month atfer i got surgery, but i also didnt get my period for a year before that so thats why i bled for so long, will this cause for my next period to skip or will my period come later? im just worried because if i dont get my period next week its a week late and i just dont want tobe pregnant even though i have used condoms, it could still happen.
